Straw mushroom cultivation
1. Processed materials:
Straw is wet in lime water (3.5 kg lime with 1,000
liters of water), pile up, incubate 2-3 days at a time. The incubation period
lasts 4-6 days. Wet material should be spread out to dry before planting. The
straw is wet enough (when squeezed straw has water flowing) is best. If it is
too dry, add water when turning the pile.
2. Close the seedling:
Place the mold (can be made into beds without mold)
to facilitate travel, mushroom care and space saving.
The width of the tissue surface is from 0.3 to 0.4
meters, height from 0.35 to 0.4 meters. Spread a layer of straw on the mold
10-12 cm thick. Implant a layer resembling a border around the edge of the mold
4-5 cm. Continue doing so for 3 classes. The top layer extends all over the
surface (4th layer).
The amount of seedling for 1.2 m tissue is about
200-250 g. Each implant is done by hand press, especially around the tissue. On
average, a ton of dry straw grows 90-100 meters of fungal tissue.
3. Care for transplanted tissue:
Depending on the location of indoor or outdoor
plantations (yards, trees, fields, etc.), care will be different.
Asian. Indoor:
After the first 3-5 days without irrigation, the
next days if the surface of mushroom tissue is dry, spray slightly water
directly around. Note that strong irrigation (large water beads) can cause
mycorrhizal fungus damage, affecting productivity as the mycelium grows out of
the tissue wall.
On the 7th to 8th day, mushroom (fruit ripening
stage) begins to appear, 3-4 days after the large mushroom grows as big as the
apple, the egg, several hours after the mushroom may bloom umbrellas.
Thick dense mushrooms, large size need to water 2-3
times water for a day. The amount of irrigation water is very small (0.1 liters
for 1.2 meters per day). If you spray too much fungus are easy to rot and die.
B. Growing outdoors:
Climbing mushroom outdoors is often caused by heavy
rains, hot sun damage, so cover a layer of dry straw on the surface of fungal
tissue. The straw layer is arranged in one direction, covered in a roofing
style. The thickness is 4-5 cm. Check if the fungal tissue is dry can be
applied directly to the coat cover several times a day.
In order to avoid rain and facilitate the care of
fungal tissue, it is possible to attach bamboo poles, or weave the roof 10-15
cm from the tissue of the fungus, the outside covered with a layer of nylon,
the top covered with dry straw.
Mushroom tissue temperature in the early days is
about 38-40 ° C is best. Watering is similar to growing mushrooms in the home.
